Copper foil for Lithium Ion Battery(LIB) is a key material of EVs, that has been grwoing rapidly due to the recent tightening of enviromental regulations and rising demand for Copper foil. Copper foil is an Anode material for Lithium Ion Battery(LIB). It serves as a pathway for the electric current and is the source to emit the heat generated by a battery. The production of copper foil requires a technology for producing mother roll of copper foil thinner and wider. SK Nexilis, a wholly-owned business of SKC, has history of producing world's first ultra-thin (4㎛) copper foil in 2019.
